You run in when others are running out,

because you understand 

what caring is really about

when others are facing health uncertainties

You work long hours,

 while others lounge at home,

giving of yourself tirelessly,

 so no one hurts alone

Your caring generosity and 

your compassionate expertise,

helps the masses to fight off deadly disease

In a crisis, you stand rising to the occasion;

regardless of economics, gender, 

or ethnic persuasion

You never complain, 

you still continue to care,

and we thank you for your service,

because we feel better knowing you are there
